If that’s the case for Epic in general (and not just something funky with my org), Epic is doing SlicerDicer a disservice by not separating drill down and export accesses. When I got that drill down access, it also came with the exporting access, and if those are tied together it’s no wonder they make it hard to get access approval. I’m hoping more useful data models and filters are released in the future - if so, I could see it becoming the more dominant reporting solution for end users, assuming they have the security point to drill down to patient level details. I think there was a recent XGM presentation about an org who set up a similar streamlined process to handle the majority of incoming report requests via SlicerDicer. Following, i wanna know how many dc summaries ive written this past month in this fucking revolving door of a service. If the user can’t validate that the criteria is pulling the appropriate patients, they aren’t going to trust any trending or numbers that come from it. People take the time to adjust settings on their smartphones, and the EHR should be no different. Create Order Panels & Save Order Preferences. That security point is hard to get here and without it, SlicerDicer is useless. Locate Outside Hospital Records Using CareEverywhere. I’m an employee at an Epic org and I thought SlicerDicer was completely useless for the longest time, and only changed my mind when I obtained access to be able to drill down to patient level details.
